The Endure Non-Absorbable POLYPROPYLENE Suture is a sterile, monofilament, synthetic suture composed of an isotactic crystalline stereoisomer of polypropylene, a synthetic linear polyolefin. The molecular formula is (C3H6)n. Our POLYPROPYLENE Sutures meet the requirements of the United States Pharmacopoeia (USP) Pharmacopoeia of monograph requirements for non-absorbable surgical sutures. Wesuture is the brand name of surgical sutures by Endure Industries.

INDICATIONS
POLYPROPYLENE Suture is indicated for use in general soft tissue approximation and /or ligation , including use in cardiovascular, ophthalmic and neurosurgical procedures. Because of its relative biological inertness, it is recommended for use when the least amount of suture reaction is needed.
PERFORMANCE
POLYPROPYLENE suture causes a minor inflammatory response in tissues, followed by progressive encapsulation of the suture by fibrous connective tissue. POLYPROPYLENE suture is not absorbable and does not degrade or weaken as a result of tissue enzyme action. It has been used successfully as a monofilament in surgical wounds that become infected or contaminated, where it helps reduce later sinus formation and suture extrusion. POLYPROPYLENE suture works well as a pull-out suture due to its lack of adhesion to tissue..
STERILITY
- POLYPROPYLENE sutures are sterilized by Ethylene Oxide
- Do not re-sterilize!
- Do not use if package is opened or damaged!
- Discard opened, unused sutures!
